Navision Connector for Pentaho Data Integration goes Open Source
After having agreed with the former author proconis GmbH about the copyright of NaviX, we are proud to publish this updated version for the connector the community.
We have just tested and upgraded NaviX from Kettle 2.5 to PDI 3 and four and for Navision 5.0 with CSIDE Client Version SP1.
The tests are done for Triumph Adler with a database of 10 GB and for Stader Saatzucht, a database of 200/600 GB.
The connector is extremely fast and based on the connector we can enhance the Navision environment with historical data about modificications in master data, shift the performance bottleneck away from the navision server and build a real flexible reporting / BI infrastructure.
