Integration of SpagoBI

January 31st: After implementing Pentaho Data Integration with the Navision Connector NaviX, we extracted the NAV data from multiple transactions tables to our datawarehouse structures and implemented on top SpagoBI.

The underlying database was implemented with Infobright - a MySQL like column based in-Memory database engine and Palo for the OLAP usage by the finanance department.

Based on Palo, the controlling department may in the near future plan and analyze the financial data, create forecasts and report in time and error free to the management.

The end users in the different divisions are able to drill into their data, create reports with charts and for the future are planned dashboards and KPI cockpits to monitor the daily operations.

Infobright - the CDBMS, Palo the OLAP engine with Excel Plugin by Jedox, SpagoBI the webportal is developed by the Italian Engineering Group and the integration was done by 3A-Strategy Global Advisory GmbH, headquartered in Hamburg, Germany.
