Cockpit for navigation within P&L, Balance and KPI cubes released
Hamburg, July 2008 - based on the open source tools Palo, Pentaho and PostgreSQL we have added a new financial application for browsing and writing easily within the Palo cubes and data. For facilitating the user experience we have designed a frontend with a GUI similar to a Cockpit to navigate, present and analyze the data from Palo cells and other data sources. The only assumption is that there must be structures in place to accomodate with the minimum requirements of our Cockpit application.
Within the Cockpit the user may compare different versions, periods, currencies, accounts, cost- and profitcenters, projects etc. based on his selection.

Our Cockpit allows one to drill down, to modify or write data for planning purposes or to create charts for a dashboard.
